bought a new Mac book pro a few months ago , was doing some work in iMovie n wanted to burn it to a dvd when to my dismay no IDVD in my software package ?? Where can I get IDVD software ??

iDVD is no longer included. Take a look at this article for alternatives. LINK

You can also use Disk Utility or the free "Burn" to burn your movie.

You could always look for a copy of iLife11 on ebay etc. It still includes iDVD.
