Hi,

quick question, when I place a file in a folder - (pictures, a movie, ...) it just goes in and can be placed anywhere - but after a while, it becomes very disorganized because there doesn't seem to be any type of allignment - and now I have about 50 files scattered around in one folder - is there a quick easy way to keep them straight, or do I have to place them in rows myself?

using Mac OS X Tiger 10.4

thanks :).

At the top of your open window on the left hand side select the middle icon (it has four lines on it) that will put you files in a list format. Then you can select to order them by name, date modified.

Hope this helps

thanks - it did - except for when I look at them in "Icon" mode - they are still all over the place - it didn't change their positions to look "Neat" - maybe i'm just being obsessive....
