You can't, iDVD is for making dvds. Make your slideshow in iPhoto, then Export it as a movie, then upload to YouTube. You can also make the slideshow in iMovie if you want to.

You don't. You've apparently made a DVD slideshow which can, as the name implies, only be seen on a DVD player.

Re-create the slideshow in iPhoto or in iMovie, you can share directly to YouTube from the latter and export to a movie and upload from the former.
