how do u delete something that is locked

im trying to delete a program thats locked and it cant be deleted.
how can i get rid of this program

Unlock it. Finder->File->Get Info untick 'Locked'.

If it won't untick go down to the Ownership & Permissions section and give yourself read & write permissions.

If you can't do any of the above then you don't own the file and probably shouldn't be trying to delete it!
