I just purchased an iPad 2 (my first Apple product). I am trying to figure out how to transfer nested folders containing Microsoft Office documents to the iPad for off-line use. ITunes lets me do it for individual files, but not for nested folders. Same with Dropbox. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can transfer my nested folders to the iPad so I can view them even when I'm not online?

I don't know the answer to this question, but have you tried QuickOffice HD? Check with them that they can do what you want before buying.

Dropbox supports nested folders. Just add the files to your desktop dropbox as normal then just mark the files/folders as favorites in the Dropbox app to download them for offline use.
