Does anyone happen to know why he is laughing so much in this particular rendition?

He is laughing because of the girl that was in the audience singing (or trying to sing)

Thanks iNAP, I didn't know this version existed.

I read that he was laughing because he was goofing off (as was customary for him to do at concerts) and sang the lyrics differently from the original.

"Do you gaze at your bald head, and wish you had hair"

Other websites have other reasons listed, like the one you mentioned, so I don't really know which story is correct.

He does say, "Sing it, baby" at one point, so maybe it was the girl's singing?
