To the forums and somewhat new to my macbook pro. Not necessarily since I've had it for quite some time now but I just recently got a 27 inch apple cinema display and I have a few questions.
I love keeping my macbook pro connected to the display since I rarely take it anywhere, only to finish emergency college papers haha but I don't like leaving it "on".
I put it to sleep since taking it out of the stand and opening it to turn it on every morning is kind of a hassle. So my question is:
Is there any way to turn it on without opening the lid and pressing the power button? Maybe a keyboard quick key I can press on my external keyboard?
Or is putting it to sleep perfectly fine? I feel as if it's still running and burning my laptops fan, etc.
What do you guys think?
