I have a Macbookpro (2.26GHZ Intel Core Duo) and it does not connect to the TV (LG 42LH30) any longer. The connection (mini display port to HDMI) used to work but it stopped.
The laptop when connected flashes to a blue screen as if it's trying but the TV receives no signal. I've replaced the adaptor and cable. Please Advise.

When you say you've replaced the adapter, do you mean the power adapter? If you're trying to do this in clamshell mode, the MBP has to be plugged in to power.
