Master Password Problem

Hi, I was recently looking at my passwords and wanted to change my master password, I tried all the passwords I knew but it still wouldn't let me in, I'm not sure if I made a typo when creating the account or if I used something completely random, I'm asking if there is any possible way to hack the master password.

Do you have your install - recovery DVD that came with your machine? You'll need to boot with it and reset the password from utilities on the DVD. You can also try this method if you're not afraid to use the Terminal.

Let us know if your machine is running Lion as the procedure for resetting the password is different.
