How do I delete an old iPad from Find My Phone app

Got a new iPad and gave the old one to my hubby. Reset all settings and gave it to him with the factory settings. Today, I was checking that the new iPad worked with Find my Phone and the default iPad listed was the old iPad 2. How do I delete it so that the iPad 3 is the only one showing and my husband can use his Apple ID on the old one?

It's one of the iCloud settings. Has your husband logged in to iCloud with his account on the iPad 1?

Nope, I don't even had iCloud. It's even simpler than that, just swipe across the offending iPad inside the Find my Phone app. Then hit the delete button that pops up.

Thanks for the answer though.
