How do you uninstall a program from your Macbook pro ? When you press and hold alt it just shakes and theres no x above it, also dragging it to the trash won't work

1, Use the uninstaller if it came with the program.
2. Use AppTrap or similar and drag to Trash and associated files should go with bit.
3. Go to the software manufacturer's web site and check uninstalling.
Hope nit his not MacKeeper, Nortonsn or nOffice 2011 as they are the devil to get rid of.
