Psychopath Test

Saw this posted on another forum and had to laugh as it is very similar, almost word for word, from a test I took for a job back in another life a few decades ago. Anyhow, enjoy, discuss, whatever... interesting at the very least. I'll add that if you over analyze it a bit, or have the right education, you may get the correct answer.

Psychopath Test
Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the bottom for the result.
This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. No one I know has gotten it right. Few people do.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know.
She thought this guy was amazing.
She believed him to be her dream guy so much that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him.
A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What is her motive for killing her sister?

She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath.
This was a test is used with other criteria to determine if one has the same mentality as a killer.
Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.

If you didn't answer the question correctly, good for you.

So was getting the correct answer a job requirement or a disqualifier?

LOL... not sure. Good question though. Probably could have gone either way.

LOL... I don't think it's really a valid diagnostic question on it's own. This post is meant more as a head scratcher and a bit of dark humor more than anything else. I think if a perfectly sane person spent enough time thinking out all the angles and was use to thinking sufficiently outside the box, they could probably get it. I'd be shocked if this is considered anything more than a curiosity or perhaps a window into how far one can step outside their comfort zone and look at things differently. Then again, maybe not!

THank God I thought her sister had bagged the guy.

So fingers crossed, I'm not a Psychopath, unless you count my plans for a certain person at work.......

.... darn, now I've posted it on the internet so I guess i'll have to scrap that plan and let him live.

My thought was sort of colored by the John Hinckley Jr. - Jodie Foster thing. I figured she was trying to impress the guy like when Hinckley had a go at Raygun. Ah well...

Maybe they got the right answer and it made them mad . . . Come to think of it, under the circumstances I'm not sure I would want to identify myself either. ;P

My Missus is a psychologist(!) and her answer was, "The guy was a transvestite that turned out to be her sister"....

I had no idea as to what the answer was, but it would have been interesting to say the least, if it really was that!

Interesting. I couldn't think of any answer, except maybe that she found out the guy liked her sister.

that was a pretty unexpected answer.

At least that's my take and I'm sticking to it.

I've got a lot of issues, but apparently being a psychopath isn't one of them!

did not see that answer coming... So I guess I am somewhat sane....

I just came to the presumption that she was nuts.
