• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I have one of the new PowerBook G4's with a 20" Apple Monitor and a Playstaion. I'm wondering if there is a way to connect the Playstion up to the Monitor? I can only see the USB and the Firewire plugs in the back of the monitor. I might not be looking hard enough but I can't see anywhere to plug the Playstaion in. I'm willing to go out and buy something to make it work.

Thanks :headphone

Thats VGA(Analog), but the Apple displays only accept DVI(Digital) inputs.

The only thing I can think of that would do what you need would be like an HD tuner box, a lot of them have digital out through DVI-D or HDMI which could do to your monitor and they also sometimes have composite/s-video/component inputs, plus you could watch HDTV on your display.

The DVI output on Apple systems can be converted to VGA with an adapter, but the DVI input on the monitor can't be converted to VGA without a really expensive and overpriced adapter.
