Please help me. I want to make my older emac desk tops to wireless and do not know how, it is a OSX 10.4.11 and they run great, but I bout a macbook and switched to a Verizon Hot Spot. what can I use to switch? I tried apple airport extreme, but there is no place to put it, I hooked up the antenna and nothing happen. What am I doing wrong and is it impossible to make these wireless? Thank you, Chanterlady I am do not know anything about computers, that is why I bought Macs.

You will need to purchase an airport card for each eMac. The cards go in a slot behind the optical drive door.

The early eMacs use the original Airport Card which is 802.11b so do not expect a lot of speed.

Later models can use an 802.11g card. The original card is dirt cheap on eBay:-

Later model eMacs use the Airport Extreme Card:-

Always helps nix you provide full model details. Here is a listing for one.
