I am looking into moving y contacts from outlook to my address book. I have exported them in .csv attached them into an email. I have since received the email and open the attachment there they are opened in excel. So lets see I have saved them in excel saved them to a folder I made and have tried to import them going "address book,file,import,vcards and found the folder but I can't seem to get them to import. I'm at a loss once again.....As always please please bail me out once again!

What it sounds like you've done is open the CSV file and saved as a XLS file.
Just go back to the email and save the CSV file straight to your documents folder or desktop.
