iPad to Computer

Very basic question -
I have an app on my Ipad which I wanted to use on my non-Apple computer,
I downloaded Itunes (64 bit processor) onto the computer
I went to the app store, and installed the app (tried to buy, but the app said I didn't have to)
When I click on app., it won't open and play
What did I miss??

App: is Word Welder
Computer is: Lenovo all-on-one, running Windows Vista, IE7

iOS (iPad, iPhone et al) Apps. won't work on your computer because they are not designed to I'm afraid.

If I understand, you have an app on your iPad that you want to open and use on your computer?

The apps for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch only work on those devices. They are referred to as iOS devices because they have a different Operating System (OS) than a desktop or notebook and therefore, apps from iOS devices won't work on computers.

You could try to see if the app developer makes a desktop version for Windows Vista.

If that app is the one I think it is I would love to see a computer version. Might be a bit of a pain to play without the touch interface though.
