Is my display messed up?

Hey guys,

As you may know I had my new mac for over a week now. I just realized that at the bottom of my screen, there is a gap even when I have my browser or Finder at full screen. Is this normal or not. Hope you can see it on the screenshot.

That's normal. I'm not sure why Lion does that, but the only way to get "full screen" is to click the full screen button on the upper right on the window.
