hey,

Im trying to save myself some money and not switch to a PC when i have a perfectly good mac pro. I want to get a little more into PC gaming but my 5770 is killing me. is it possible to run a PC PCIe video card when im in bootcamp and then use my 5770 when im on osx? OR can i crossfire them?

ive also heard of some kext software you can get but im not really sure how those work.

thanks

No. As our Mac Pro experts who post here will tell you, you can not use a PC graphics card in your Mac Pro because the firmware is different. You need a graphics card that is Mac compatible or a PC graphics card that has had its firmware altered for the Mac.

Use a flashed ATI Radeon HD4870 1GB card, and when in Windows simply was a matter of updating Windows driver from ATI. Just gotta be a Mac compatible card as staff points out.
