I am thinking about purchasing Roxio Toast 11 Pro for use in creating video/audio DVDs. Was wondering if anyone out there has used it, and whether they think it is
worth the price. I'm currently using iMovie and iDVD to create DVDs (running Lion 10.7.2), but Toast will give me Blue Ray capability which I don't presently have. Thanks.

Toast is worth the money you pay for it, the best burner software out there by far

Anyone upgrade from Toast 10 to Toast 11? I have Toast 10 Titanium and like it. Real world, is paying for an upgrade to 11 worth it? If so, what was the attraction?

Toast 11 includes BluRay support, so its worth it if you want that feature

I like Toast and have used it for years. I have Toast 11 Pro and use it regularly though not as much as I used to. My one complaint is that I don't think the interface to choose the type of burn is as intuitive as it used to be. Its not horrible but did take a bit of getting used to. It' hard for me to think of specific examples at the moment because it has been a while since I needed it.

Slydude: Well, I need "intuitive." Is the manual good? When I hit a non-intuitive wall, can I find the answer in minutes, or will it take hours?

I think Toast 11 was a step back from Toast 10 user-interface wise, but it's still the easiest program with that level of functionality out there.
