does the isight that is built into the new imac work as a webcam for msn messenger?

yes it doesn't, but you can still use ichat, which is also a really good program.

But that doesn't help him communicate with his not-so-tech savvy PC friends who have MSN, which is the most popular video conferencing program for Windows. Try convincing them to use AIM.

The iSight will work with iChat (AIM) and Yahoo Messenger. MSN does not support video on the Mac at this point, but maybe one day it will.
