Hello

Im looking for a software to capture video (live) from an external camera on my MacBook Pro, through the firewire port.

I've been trying to use iMovie but you cant (at least to my knowledge) really do it the way I want to: I need to record a lot of videos, and individually choose their format and the location I want them to be saved on. In iMovie I'd have to create a new project for each video, so thats not ideal.

Is there any good alternative to iMovie?

Free would be great of course, especially because I want something very simple, I dont need to edit the videos afterwards, just be able to capture them easily. If not free, something cheap would be great.

Thanks!

Al
