i have recently bought my forst powermac g5 (dual 1.8) and plan on buying final cut studio. I currently have 1gb (2x512) of ram. should i need to upgrade to 2gb?

From the Apple site: 512MB of physical RAM; HD features require 1GB of RAM or more (2GB recommended). I just purchased my PowerMac. I will be upgrading it to at least 4GB. If you can afford more, I would increase it to at least 2.
