Importing for digital camera

When i connect my camera to my mac it opens iPhoto to import the pictures, Problem is i would rather import them to a single folder so i can filter out the photos i do not want before iPhoto organizes them and flys them to millions of folders.

I know it organizes by date, i dont keep track of dates i took pictures and there is way to many to just search folder to folder.

So is there any programs or other way to import to a single folder rather than using iPhoto?

You can use Image Capture, which is located in your application folder.
