• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.

Long story short - I have approx 600 dvds. I am in the process of ripping them with handbrake into a Time capsule, so I can use my macbook air to stream them to my apple tv through iTunes. Problem being, I would say one out of every 4 times I rip with handbrake, when I go to "add to itunes" in the file menu, the ripped movie will not show up. They are all ripped into the same format, it just seems like 25% of the time, itunes just doesn't pull the m4v file into my file list. Any help would be much appreciated. All programs are updated as of this A.M., newest itunes, newest handbrake, etc....

Thanks

Markus
