Java 1.5 OSX panther

I just upgraded one of my apps but it requires java 1.5. This is easy enough to install on a linux or win box but how can I install 1.5 on my OSX panther powerbook? Is there an apple update somewhere?

I have checked the Apple site, and all I find is 1.4.2.

Apple today released Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 Release 3 via its Software Update Utility and on the Web.
