Windows and Charger

Hey I just recently partitioned my mac with bootcamp, loaded windows 7, and installed star wars the old republic. A short while after my charger stopped working.... it hardly ever works now. I was wondering if this had anything to do with the windows/star wars installment???

Probably coincidental. Do you have another MagSafe Charger you can use to test with?

You don't say what kind of equipment you have - but there is a known problem/lawsuit with the older "T" type Magsafe chargers.

sorry, its a macbook pro. i bought it the summer of 2010, and the charger came with it.

UUUGGGHHH ANYONE PLEASE!!!! are you sure this is coincidental?! ive been sharing another charger with my gf and that one stopped working too!

The logical assumption then is that there is a problem with your MacBook, but it wouldn't be Windows's fault (seriously, it may not be perfect, but Microsoft's flagship OS isn't cursed!), it must just be a hardware failure; probably as simple as a loose connection between the MagSafe connector & the logic board.

Just take it into an Apple store & get a Genius to give it a once-over.

Well, unless you mean that neither charger works on either MacBook; in which case - no offence - but it's probably that your girlfriend is breaking the chargers!
