I, with a few friends, are looking at the possibility of starting a bi-weekly live internet show. We would like to incorporate elements of voice (from an external mic), music (both from iTunes and from an external source), and prerecorded audio. I have an app (Nicecast) that handles the internet streaming aspect of it, but I'm looking for an application (that looks like Ableton or ProTools, or any other DAW) that I can mix all of these sources live (and record them), and then let Nicecast stream them.
I've looked at the free DJ software such as VirtualDJ and Mixxx, but I don't think those offer what I'm in need of...so does anyone have any ideas of what I might be looking for, or if any of the previous apps will do the job?
Thanks!
