Hi Guys,
At the moment all my avchd footage is stored in my external hard drive in a proves 422 format converted via toast.I then have edited my first ever video by importing the files into fcpx which it stores in a folder on the internal hard drive.I have seen somewhere on the net that it is better not to use the internal drive but to have all of the video being used in fcpx to be stored on the external drive my question is....is this correct and if so why?and how do i go about changing it.
Many thanks Lee
