buying apps

Every time i go to the apple store on line. i see some app i want for my mac and click on it, but does take me anywhere to pay and down load it. someone help me?

Do you have an iTunes account ?

no. i set up an account on apple site.

When I get an App it will prompt me for my Apple ID and password (same as an iTunes account) then it proceeds with the download.

i seen an item i like, i clicked on it and it just showed me info. on it. thats it.

Set up an iTunes account then try it.

You are right that when you click on the name of an app it will take you to the info page. Maybe you're missing the fact that you need to click on the actual price, it changes into a "Buy App" button?
