Hello everyone,

Just read the article on uninstalling programs which I found extremely helpful. It showed me that I didn't use the uninstaller on a few programs.

I found some remnants of some programs in a folder called "Application Support".

Is it ok to just drag these to the trash?

Is there something else I need to do to get rid of files that I didn't use the uninstaller for?

Thank you.

AS long as the original apps are no longer installed then go ahead and delete them

Otherwise use uninstallers and if there isn't one then a program called appdelete can do a better job of clearing up an install you no longer need

As stated above, as long as you're sure they go with programs you have deleted, it's fine. Many people say that this is the best way to remove an app. Using the "one size fits all" app zapper programs is no panacea. They leave things behind, so I'm told. The app's own uninstaller, if it has one, is better than one of those programs.
