I saw that this afternoon in the news. However, someone is going to swallow T-Mobile, just a matter of time. Looks like the Dish Network may be interested in gobbling them up.

You can like T-Mo all you want, they are still up for sale.Chances are someone with worse business sense than AT&T will now grab them up...

I hate government intervention in commerce unless it's absolutely necessary. That said, I'm glad they didn't merge. I like choice in the market place. There is precious little choice as it is.

We learned about this in history class. At&t wanted T-Mobile and the Government said that can't have it because it will make less competition and make a monopoly, and AT&T will own most of the market. Which then they will jack up the price, and give us crappy service. It's a good thing, and good that we have a Government that will make a competition to make things less money for us.

This makes me sad I love Tmobile and hope whoever takes them over won't mess things up too bad!
