Is it possible to watch a region one (US) DVD on my mac mini I have? Our reigon code is 4 and I am not sure there is an option in system preferences that will allow me to change regions so I can watch some baseball dvds I got from the US on my Mac Mini.
Or does this break some sort of rule??
Found this on apple DVD Player: About DVD-Video Regions about the 5 times change setting rule. So the rule applies on Mac OS X and on Windows.
I guess I could leave the Mac Mini on Region 1, makes it's so much easier to watch US stuff on this then and just use the other multimedia laptop (Windows-based) for the rest of my DVDS.
I also should note that when I check the DVD Region preferences in Apple's DVD Player it doesn't say how many changes it has left. There's only a question mark for the help menu.
