mackeeper

hi, am still a noob with my new macbook. i have just recently installed an software program called mackeeper. is this program worth instaling on my MBP? what are the pros and cons of this software. need some in depth opinions. appreciate your help guys, thanks

Doing a search would have given you a LOT of discussion on this. Bottom line: AVOID!!! UNINSTALL IMMEDIATELY (and be sure to use their uninstaller!!).

the problem is is i have already purchased and paid for it.. so it was obviously a waste of money then?

Since you've already paid for it, time to make your own decision.

Could be wrong, but don't believe you're going to find a long time member of this forum that's even allowed that piece of spammer software onto their machine, much less used it.

There is no need for those Windows type crossover products on a Mac.
