Hello

I am very new to imovie and am still in the editing process of my 1st project.
I added a song from my itunes (afetr muting all my video clips) into my clips of video that i am in the middle of tweeking.
For me to change certain parts of my video from slow-mo or high speed or black and white etc, i need to be able to hear the sound of my chosen itune song when i hover my mouse over it. This was working fine and i was cutting my video nicely until the sound suddenly stopped.?
Ive not accidently deleted the audio and when i play the entire thing the sound plays just fine. Its just in editing mode that i need to be able to hear and i cant.

Can anyone help me?

I forget it's exact placement...but your looking for the audio skimming feature. It needs to be enabled...I believe you can do it from the dropdown menu on edit...just tick it on...probably off by accident...

Hi, thank you for the quick reply, it worked, for about 5 minutes and then stopped again! Any ideas?

I've noticed that it just does that sometimes, and then it'll start working again. Very annoying.
