Garage Band Tutorial for newbees?

As a recent PC convert, I'm looking for a Garage Band Tutorial for newbees.

I simply wish to record guitar & vocals & can't silence the metronome, don't know about saving, sharing, etc.

I'm running OSX 10.5.1 on my Macbook.

Try starting with this: Apple - Find Out How - Music - GarageBand

To turn the metronome on or off, choose Control > Metronome while the project is stopped.
