What could they be sued for is what im trying to ask, I have about 5-6 Mac Minis(2005-2006 Year Range) that im trying to sell off for about 80-150$, Im not really able to think of lots of uses for them, besides pictures and videos (although it has a low streaming speed).

Id like to know what you guys use them for or your thoughts on possible uses that a typical customer could use, or what you guys do use them for

Depends upon the specs (Intel -vs- PPC). Some Linux distros will run on PPC, so that opens them up quite a bit. Web servers, DNS servers, <insert_function> servers, etc... They might make a nice media center or backup storage server. One could probably use one as a CUPS server/print spooler in a small business.

... the possibilities are pretty much endless - even G4 Mac minis have still got plenty of life in them

There is a compilation of MorphOS (an Amiga OS variant) for the G4 Minis. I've been hunting one for a decent price for some time now. They still fetch decent prices on eBay, probably has something to do with that.

I guess I would sell them all for enough to buy a new Mini.

Haven't had much luck on ebay :/

Funny, I just got outbid on one. My max bid was $125. That was for a G4 1.25GHz Mini from 1995 with the box and discs.

I have one CWA but I had promised it to a friend. 1.25 with everything.

I am using it right now for a WWW server and it works great. Am using a 1.5Ghz G4 mini for movies on my TV. Works well for now till I get a HD tv, then will go to an Intel Mini.

I'm not desperate for one, just something I browse for a good deal on now and then. If I can get one for a good price, I'd be happy. But I'm not going to spend what they're fetching on eBay... and that's usually upwards of $150.

My point is that the OP can certain get good money for them, assuming they're in decent working condition.

Check your local Craig's List. I saw one there...that with some negotiation you might be able to get for $150 or less (and no shipping $$$ like e-Bay)!:)

I would love to have a core solo mac mini to replace my g4 towers. Alas, I have no money for even $80.
