Menu question

Hi, is there any way to arrange the order that items appear on the apple menu in the top right-hand corner?
I ask because whenever I see screenshots of other macs, people have the icons there in different orders, for example the time next to the spotlight and the battery icon on the other side of the time.
On my powerbook I have the icons in the following order, from left to right

keychain - Bluetooth - Wireless - volume - Keyboard switcher - Time - Battery - Spotlight

What Id like to have is

volume - keyboard - bluetooth - wireless - keychain - battery - time - spotlight

Is there anyway to do this? I havent been able to find one but I suspect Im making it too complicated.

Try command-dragging the items. Most should move.
