Good Evening,

Have been using Aperture 3 for a while and looking to upgrade photo software. Not really interested in dropping 600 bucks on Photoshop and was looking at GIMP. Can anyone tell me if it's compatible with OS LION? Been reading a lot of stuff that it is, some sites say it isn't. Has anyone been using it with Lion?

Works just fine on my 2011 MBA running Lion with 4GB of RAM. I don't use a ton of features, but it does the basic editing I need.
