rEFIT Can't Log Into Windows

I have a new MacBook Air and I can get to the rEFIT page and log into mac os. But now when I select Windows I see the windows logo, then the screen goes black. I have gone to the partition tool and it says the part ions are synced. I've also rest PRAM and I can log into windows in Mac using Parallels.

Also, is there a way to permanently solve the PRAM problem? I end up having to reset it every once in a while or my computer won't wake up.
