Hey there :
I am currently having a quick time problem when cutting up stock footage files/clips for a video project i am working on .
The problem is that say for example i cut 3- 5 seconds of footage out of a clip using Quick time setting my in and out , i then export the file as either a AVI or MPEG , Then i delete the original source of the footage as it takes up a large amount of space , When then playing my cut footage or editing it , it wont recognize as i says im missing the original footage ,
Is there any way i can keep my edited file/clip that it will play back and still delete the original ? would i need to export it as something different ?
Thank you very much in reading this and i shall be grateful if you could help
