As i was logging video, I'm sure i hit a random key. I cannot see the video anymore, but can hear the audio.
how do i reset so i can see and hear everything?

Press F10 or F12 depending on your Mac to display all open windows of currently active programs. Then click on the program you want.

it's not an issue with a window not being open. the viewer in Final Cut Pro is open. the I can hear the audio, but cannot see the video.
