21.5" 2011 iMac 2.5Ghz i5 16GB RAM DDR3 1333MHz
I just ordered a mid/2011 21.5" iMac. I bought the lowest model, is 8GB or ram enough?

I don't do any gaming or video editing. I just do homework, blog and surf the internet.

You ordered a "Mid" 2011 iMac not "Late". Anyway yes, 8 GB should be plenty since the machine comes stock with 4 GB.
