Scroll lock issue

I am using Excel 2007 in Windows XP on a MccBook Pro, using Parallels. There are business issues for using this method. I am also using a Mac extended keyboard, but have the same problem with the MACBook Pro's keyboard.
I am having a problem with scroll lock. It seems to have become accidentally switched on, and there is no scroll lock key on either keyboard. As a consequence, when I use the down arrow key to navigate around a spreadsheet, the whole sheet scrolls but the cursor stays on the same cell. How do I release the scroll lock please?

Try going to the prefences and changing the mouse or the keyboard.
