If you have itunes on the computer then try it. From what I read about the 2002 emac is that the best operating system it can run is mac os x 10.4 (Tiger) and for the most recent version of itunes has a minimum system requirement of 10.5 (leopard). On top of this 2002 emac comes with 10.1 so Im going to say no sorry I don't think you can.

I was all set to say that this was not going to work because the appropriate cable did not exist. Apparently this is one of the many times I have been wrong. Using the iPod Dock Connector to FireWire and USB 2.0 Cable. I remember these cables being used with iPods but not iPhones. Most of the descriptions I saw from vendors do not mention using the Firewire version of the cable with the iPhone. Here is one that does though I am sure there are others. NEW IEEE 1394 iPod to USB/Firewire Hotsync Connector Cable

But chances are INCREDIBLY HIGH that no, this will not work unless all the ingredients necessary are exactly right, so the real answer is "no."
