OK, so I screwed some stuff up. Filevault/sparsebundle etc.etc.etc.

I used Lion Recovery to reinstall. When it was finished, I get to the log in screen and I see the messed up home folder and all the other users.
I thought it would have completely wiped out everything and started over like a whole new computer/user.

Can I do this, I want to just start over.
Oh ya, its a mid 2010 mac mini.

Reboot to the HD Recovery option - pick Disk Utilities

Go to the Erase tab
Leave the format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
Pick a name for the partition
click Erase

Then reboot and reinstall

That will erase everything on your drive except the recovery partition

I do this with "Macintosh HD" selected on the left correct?
There's that and below the line is "disk1" followed by "Mac os x base system".

Yes.

Just try picking disk 1 - you'll find you can't - all the options turn grey - that is the Recovery partition you're booted into.

Alright!!!! 99 hours and 23 mins to go!!!!!
I know it'll only be an hour or so. The fist time I saw that I kinda tripped out though. I thought I had really done it that time. Thx again and have a good day.
