Hey everyone...

If I downloaded a game off of the Mac App store, is there a way to back up that program and re-load it on a new machine?

I downloaded Star Wars: KOTOR for Mac, and I want to wipe my machine clean and re-intsall the operating system. Is there a way to back up that game so that I can re-load it when I restore my system?

Thanks for your help!

Once you download a game from the Mac App store it can be downloaded again, either to another Mac you own or the same Mac after a reinstall. No need to back up the game specifically. However, you should be making backups of your entire system. Use Time Machine.

Just go into the App Store, hold Option and hit purchases. You can then download again f.o.c.
