Hey I've recently got the opportunity to use my universities new 5.1 surround sound system in the hall! (actually technically it's 6.1, theres a speaker on the roof!)
Anyway I can't wait to mix some music and experiment, I need to connect via Firewire, however my macbook has no firewire port!!!
What can I do to get around this???
I've heard of adapters but do they work? which one is best? Is their any other alternatives?

Btw I will be using the latest version of Logic Pro and my macbook was made in 2009.
