- 2005 Apple PowerBook 1.67 Ghz, 2 gigs ram, 160 Gb HDD, OS X 10.5.8
I have a question. I just picked up a 2005 PowerBook G4, 1.67, 2 gigs ram, 160 gig HDD, 10.5.8
I had a Mac Mini Core Solo 1.5, 2 gigs ram, 60 gig HDD, 10.4.11
My question is: If I were to load 10.4 on my PowerBook G4, would it handle GarageBand about as well as the Mac Mini did?
I'm thinking about dual booting 10.5 and 10.4 on this PowerBook, but I'd like to know if it would be worth it? I know 10.4 runs more lean, and so does GarageBand 3, but would it make that much of a difference?
Thanks guys,
-Chris
