• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hi Fellow Mac Lovers,

I just made a short imovie that I want to send to Youtube. But everytime I go to click "Share," the list of selections (including YouTube) are all white and unclickable! What am I doing wrong? The little clip that I made seems properly selected, so I at least know that isn't the problem.

Thanks, in advance, for your help, folks. :)

Are you trying to send a finished Project to Youtube, or a clip in the Event Library? From the above, it sounds like the latter.

Hi MightyGem,

Thanks for the quick reply. It's just a little clip I made using my iCamera. So I guess that qualifies as a finished project, though it's in the Project Library now.

OK, it's only Projects that you can share.

Do I need to get it out of the Project Library? If so, how would I do that?

Thanks again for your continuing help, MacGem.

No. If it's in the Project Library, then the Share menu should be active.

Right, all I need to do is get it clip from the Event Library to the Project Library, so that I can share them. I haven't been able to do that properly.
