Hi...

I am hopefully upgrading very shortly and are quite fascinated by the idvd application as it seems that you can make visually stunning dvd's quite easily.. is this the case?

Also I was wondering whether idvd allowed you to ensure any dvd's produced are copy protected, ie cannot be simply copied or duplicated unless by myself?

iDVD is great... very easy... and still produces great looking results... although it does limit you to the Apple designed templates.

Unfortunately it does not include the ability to do CSS copy protection. DVD Studio Pro does.
